MSP's premiers play neighbours Poneke at Evans Bay this Saturday, 30 April, with an early 2.15pm kick-off to allow for the Hurricanes match at the Stadium later in the day. The premiers have a tough run of games ahead, with Petone after Poneke, then Hutt Old Boys Marist on 14 May, the day of the 40th jubilee. However, the team will be bouyed by last week's result against Upper Hutt when they battled from 15-6 down to snatch the game 16-15 in front of a big Maidstone Park crowd.
MSP's under-21 side has made a strong start to the season, with three wins from its first three outings. Mason Lawrence, in his first year coaching at MSP, says the side features a good mix of ex-St Pat's Town boys and players from other colleges >>>

MSP's 40th Jubilee celebrations are in a fortnight's time, on13-15 May. It promises to be a great weekend.... The Juniors have a big night at the clubrooms on Saturday 7 May. All junior players, parents and families are warmly invited.... The clubrooms will be humming after this Saturday's Poneke game, with the inaugural spoofing championships starting at 7pm... And there's a two-for-one deal for group tickets on offer for this week's Hurricanes clash with the Reds.
College rugby kicks off on Saturday 7 May with the St Pat's College 1st XV taking on Rongotai's 1st XV at Evans Bay. Rugby at St Pat's is on a roll this year, with 10 teams and 213 registered players making it the school's biggest individual sport. The College section of the MSP website has all the news >>>
