Colts rugby at MSP
Every year Marist St Pats consistently produces a strong colts side. Our colts rugby aims to develop players a year or two out of school into future MSP premier players.
Live trainings are held with senior teams, challenging players to lift to the next level. Players are encouraged to reserve or fill in for the club’s senior sides. The colts is seen as a feeder team for players who could play premier and senior rugby in the following years.
Our colts teams are made up of returning colts, players from schools around Wellington, and players new to Wellington who are looking to join a good club, make new friends and enjoy their rugby on and off the field.
Leaving school?
Marist St Pats has a proven track record of developing young players and supporting their goals on and off the field. Every year we welcome a large number of College Leavers from around the city and the country who are looking to join a club with a proud tradition of success.
Annual Spillane tournament
MSP Colts benefit from attending the NZ Marist Spillane Cup tournament each year with the premier team. This is always a fantastic start to the season. It's a good way to get to know team mates and to play against other Marist clubs from around the country.
