50th anniversary team polls ran in 2019
The polls for MSP's 'people's choice' 50th anniversary team (below) ran over 11 weeks in 2019, closing on 11 August. They gave members the opportunity to vote on the best players to have represented the club since 1970.
Here's the team selected by popular vote. Also listed is a 'B' team, plus all the nominees put forward by the selection committee of Brian Coulter, Kevin Horan, John Duignan and Iain Potter.
The official 50th team was to be announced at the anniversary dinner on 30 May 2020. But with the 50th celebrations postponed, that announcement will be part of the anniversary weekend in 2021. Make sure you have registered for all the weekend's events.
