There are two words that get Wellington Club Rugby enthusiasts particularly excited: Jubilee Cup. For those enthusiasts, the wait is over as the contest for Wellington rugby's greatest prize starts this weekend. Our Premiers will head to Maidstone Park on Saturday for an elimination playoff match against the Upper Hutt Rams - the winner progresses, the loser drops to the Hardham Cup. We would love your support in Upper Hutt on Saturday; in the meantime, this is the latest news from around the club...
Billy Proctor named in the All Blacks
Marist St Pats is brimming with it after last week's naming of Scott Robertson's first All Blacks squad with our own Billy Proctor included after an outstanding season with the Hurricanes.
The fact that Billy will be Marist St Pats' first All Black who is a St Patrick's College Old Boy is extra special. We offer our heartfelt congratulations to Billy and the Proctor family on this great achievement!

Over the past few years, Marist St Pats has developed a strong relationship with old boys of Sacred Heart College, Auckland. Last year, Sacred Heart claimed the elusive 1A title for the first time since 1965, and to mark that 58-year drought-breaker, college old boys crafted a documentary recounting the campaign primarily through the eyes of the players. Sacred: A Rugby Story for the Ages is playing on SkySport this week.

Marist St Pats congratulates Monica Tagoai who was named in the Black Ferns squad to play Australia... Nikora Broughton and Tyrone Thompson are in Japan after being selected for the Maori All Blacks... The Marist St Pats Netball '1' side went unbeaten in their first round competition and have been promoted to Premier Reserve 3 for the second round... Supporters weren't mistaken when they saw former Premier captain, Peter Sciascia, take the field for the second half against Johnsonville last weekend. With injuries mounting, Peter answered the call and slotted in at halfback off the bench... Marist St Pats extends our condolences to the Mettrick family after the passing of their mother and grandmother, Jenny, this week... The Clubrooms will be open this weekend, come up and watch the All Blacks vs England... Congratulations to our amazing physio, John Kieu, who is in Tonga as the assistant physio to the Tongan national side...
