Four wins, two losses and two blazers earned

On a glorious winter afternoon there were some great results for Marist St Pats across the grades.

In the first game of the day our Premier Women beat Petone by 34-25. Emelemoa Makisi earned her blazer, coming off the bench for her 50th game.

The Colts were up next and bounced back from last week's defeat with a 47-17 win over Oriental-Rongotai.

Our Premier 2 side had a tough game against Tawa, trailing by 14-15 at the half they ultimately went down 14-44.

The Under 85's got their second win of the season, downing Poneke by 43-19 on Kilbirnie Park.

The Internationals had a narrow loss to OBU by 15-19.

In the Swindale Shield match on Evans Bay our Premier Men had a strong win over a Johnsonville side that has been travelling well thus far. James Proctor earned his blazer for his 50th Premier game for Marist St Pats.

James Tuiatua scored two of the four first half tries for the side to take a 24-10 lead into the half time break. Playing at centre Ryan Setefano scored a try in each half and set up the final try of the game for Shane Thompstone for a final score of 43-15.

The Presidents had a bye.
