Premiers dismantle Old Boys-University
Our Premiers put on a clinical display at Evans Bay Park to beat Old Boys-University in their round three match in the Jubilee Cup.
A strong first half effort saw the Red Machine take a 20-12 lead at the break following tries to Ben Fehoko and Kerrod Foaese. But it was the second half where the action was.
Replacement loose forward Pago Haini regathered a chip from Peter Sciascia to give his side some breathing room, but then it was a relentless red wave that rolled the Swindale Shield winners with another three unanswered tries.
In the early game the Premier 2s dropped just their third game of the season in a tight game with their OBU counterparts.
