Solid results as more teams kick off

Most teams were in action around the grounds of Wellington this weekend with some solid performances across the grades.

The Premiers fell in a close game against OBU at Nairnville with not much in it the entire match; earlier the Premier Reserves earned their second successive win with a solid victory over OBU.

On the other side of town the Colts earned a solid win over Wellington, with two late tries to the Axemen narrowing the scoreline. The Presidents had a good win over Oriental-Rongotai in a game dedicated to the late Peter Dunn.
