Our Premier Reserves win streak ended at six as they lost to Old Boys-University in the Ed Chaney Cup final 10-20 this afternoon.
Trailing 3-13 at the break our team fought their way back into the game, dominating territory and possession to narrow the margin to 10-13. A try against the run of play with about 10 minutes to go sunk their chances of a comeback. This team showed a lot of heart after a tough start to the second round to fight their way to the final. We congratulate OBU on this grade title.
In other action, the Internationals fell to Johnsonville but still qualified fourth to contest a semi final next week against rivals Poneke 'Ruffnuts'. This game will be played at 2.30pm at Kilbirnie Park.
