As the winter season approaches the Marist St Pats Management Board would like to acknowledge some changes in key administration positions at the club.
It is particularly appropriate to extend a huge thanks to Rob Evans; Marist St Pats Management Board Chairman during 2013-15. Rob, and his family, have shifted to Nelson as a consequence of a career work opportunity.
Rob, who followed in his father Ron’s footsteps, has set a solid foundation as the Club prepares for the 2015 winter campaign.
With Rob's relocation, the Chairman’s role has again been accepted by John Holden. John brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to the Club following his Chairmanship during the successful 2008-10 period and as the Clubs Junior Convenor 1999-2001.
The Marist St Pats family is also pleased to welcome Bryce Tietjens (former Premier Manager and Club Captain) and his wife Catherine, and family, back to Wellington following a lengthy period of international business. Bryce has agreed to step into the WRFU delegate’s role for Marist St Pats.
The Board has held a number of planning sessions just prior and following the Christmas season. With the Senior coaches already announced the Marist St Pats sub-committee leaders for 2015 are:
