The Wellington Rugby Football Union has released the draws for the 2015 Swindale Shield and Harper Lock Shield competitions.
The first round of Senior rugby takes on a new look after significant changes were made to the first round competitions over the off season. An expanded competition will see 14 teams compete in each grade, with each club only playing 12 of those teams.
Defending Swindale Shield champions Marist St Pats see a split of five home games at Evans Bay Park with six away. The Premier Reserves will compete for the Harper Lock Shield in a draw that mirrors the Premier grade. Notable aspects of the draw include:
