Dynamic midfielder Isaia Petelo was named Marist St Pats' 'Sportsman of the Year' and awarded the Paul Donoghue Trophy at the end of season prizegiving.
This caps off an excellent club season for Isaia (right) who scored 10 tries for the Premiers and was part of the Swindale Shield winning squad. He is playing representative rugby for Horowhenua-Kapiti in this years Heartland Championship.
On the administrative front, webmaster Michael Holden was awarded the W.M. O'Connor Memorial Cup and named 'Most Outstanding Club Member', the highest honour awarded to a non-playing club member.
Michael (left) has managed the club's website and social media presence along with producing weekly video highlights of Premier games. This has provided enormous exposure for the club.
Other notable winners were Valentine Meachen (Mick Horan Memorial Trophy) and J.P. Tocker who was awarded the inaugural John L. Gordon Memorial Trophy.
Matt Peni and Mike Buckley were awarded age grade awards; these will be players to watch in the coming years!
