Budgie puts his money where his mouth is!
The anticipation of the $1000 Beat the Budgie draw saw a good crowd at the clubrooms on Saturday night. After weeks with no winner, Paul 'Budgie' Jacobsen was finally forced to stump up his cash to Jamie Clarke from the Under 85 Blues.
Not only did Jamie win the cash, but also Budgie presented him with one of his exclusive scarves with the words 'Budgie the Legend' embroidered on it. Jamie was stoked with this, proclaiming he 'won't take it off again!'
Congratulations Jamie and another big thank you to Budgie for sponsoring the draw. By all accounts the Blues had a pretty good night on the back of the win!
