Four MSP players in Lions squad
Congratulations to the four MSP players today named in the 31-strong Wellington Lions squad to contest the ITM Cup.
Jeff Allen, Arden David, Apoua Stewart and Victor Vito have been named in the squad which starts its campaign this Saturday against Taranaki.
Taking players out of club rugby will have a big impact on the business end of the club season as they vie for the Jubilee Cup and to avoid relegation in the Hardham Cup. Norths has been hardest hit, losing seven players, while MSP loses four and Poneke, Petone, OBU, and Cup front runners Ories lose three each. Here's the full list.
