One and done in the Jubilee Cup

The 2024 Jubilee Cup campaign lasted one game for our Premiers after falling to Upper Hutt Rams by 18-45 at Maidstone Park.

The Rams, buoyed by an impressive Salesi Rayasi, were dominant in the first half jumping out to a 8-25 lead at the half. Determined to get back into the game, the Red Machine scored two tries in the first 10 minutes of the second half to narrow the score to 18-25, but the Rams weren't going to give it away. They dominated the final 20 minutes to advance to the next round.

Our Premiers now drop to the Hardham Cup playoffs where they will play a quarter final next Saturday. We expect this to be against Wellington at Evans Bay Park, this will be confirmed on Monday.
