Update to Director of Rugby role

Marist St Pats has been fortunate to have Sean Horan as our Director of Rugby since late 2023. Over the past year Sean has contributed expertise and experience to build structure and discipline to the way we support our players and coaches to perform on the field, based on a strong culture and standards off it.

As many will know, Sean's family and business is based in the Bay of Plenty. With strong foundations in place, we have agreed to adjust the responsibilities of our Director of Rugby role to enable Sean to balance his other responsibilities.

For 2025, Sean will remain our Director of Rugby, albeit in a voluntary capacity and from his base in Bay of Plenty. He will continue to support our coaches and to support a number of the initiatives he has developed in 2024.

Sean has done a great job and we are mutually confident in the management and coaching group in place to continue to the upward momentum. We will continue to see Sean in Wellington on a number of occasions in 2025 and he will continue to be a member of our Rugby Sub-Committee.

We are grateful to Sean for all that he has achieved over the past year and look forward to continuing to have his support in 2025.
