While the rugby season has been underway for a couple of months now its fair to say it's about to heat up. The highlights of June will include Past Players and Supporters Day this Saturday, the British and Irish Lions tour, and the start of the Jubilee Cup round. Marist St Pats Colts player Grayson Whitman has been called into the Manu Samoa Under 20 squad which has assembled for the Junior World Cup in Georgia this week; the team is captained by MSP prop Ivan Fepulea'i... Following promotion to Division One our Women have had two strong performances, a narrow loss to perennial contenders Norths and a 44-10 win over Old Boys-University... Halfback Cheyne Copeland captained the St Mary's College 7s team that won the Sanix World Championship in Japan this month; she was joined by fellow MSP player Ainsleyana Puleiata. Cheyne's been in fine form for MSP, scoring three tries against OBU last weekend...
