At the recent Annual General Meeting Mike Hansen was elected Chairman of Marist St Pats for 2016. Mike will be following in esteemed family footsteps as father, Peter, was a former President of MSP and mum, Ina, was also on the MSP Management Board! Mike’s wife Michelle comes from the famous MSP Nansett family, whilst brother, David, was also a Premier grade player and sister, Jo-Anne, is a vocal supporter.

As 2015 winds down, Mike wishes to extend the following message to club members:

'As we close out another year can I extend my thanks to all those who contributed so much during 2015. Much is already in planning for 2016 by the dedicated people who volunteer to be part of this great club.

Whilst we look forward to another exciting year of club rugby, please take time out for loved ones, family and friends to come together and enjoy the Christmas season and the dawn of a New Year.

I wish all of you a very happy Christmas and New Year. Please travel and holiday safely over the coming weeks. I look forward to seeing you all in 2016!'

In other management positions, President John Wootton is continuing for a third term, Luke Meredith has been elected Deputy Chairperson and new and returning Board members Pat Martin, Ginny Pang, Paul Churchman, JP Tocker, Bryce Tietjens, Martin Paget, Steve Witkowski, Tom Mahoney and Chris Bensemann make a formidable Management Board.
