Andrew Robinson and Clayton McMillan recognised at WRFU Awards

The Wellington Rugby Football Union held their annual awards last Friday night at Te Papa and two MSP coaches took top honours. Five-time champion Under 85kg Blues coach Andrew Robinson won the Club Coach of the Year, while Clayton McMillan was named Representative Coach of the Year after his unbeaten campaign with the Wellington Under 19 team... >>>


Brian McGuinness named 'Old Boy of the Year'

MSP life member Brian McGuinness was jointly named St Patrick's Old Boys Association 'Old Boy of the Year' with Deputy Prime Minister Bill English at the annual Old Boys dinner held last month... >>>

Recently a number of our coaches and players got together and spoke on camera about what makes our club so great to play for; the resulting video has been a hit on social media with feedback streaming in from all over the country! Around the traps

The Annual General Meeting will be held at the Hataitai Clubrooms on Thursday 27 November at 7pm; the Annual Report will be released on our website in the coming weeks... Our annual prizegiving was held in September, Isaia Petelo was named 'Sportsman of the Year' while digital co-ordinator Michael Holden was awarded 'Outstanding Club Member'; a full list of prizewinners can be found here... The clubrooms saw a flourish of activity as the winter season came to a close, check out photo galleries from Prizegiving and the Shamrock Club dinner with guests Sir John Kirwan and Peter Miskimmin... Isaac O'Connor, Matt Peni and Ryan Setefano are involved in the Wellington Sevens squad and travelled to New South Wales last month to compete in the Central Coast 7s, the team came runners-up... Offseason fitness and strength training with Henry Fa'afili is on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the Evans Bay gymnasium...
