Dear

Welcome to the first Marist St Pat's newsletter for 2012....

Sausage sizzle and fundraiser to get season underway

Numbers at pre-season training are excellent, there's plenty of new faces and a buzz about the club as the new season gets underway. Check out the new talent and catch up with everyone at a sausage sizzle and fundraiser at the internal trials on Sunday 4 March >>>

Pre-season schedule finalised

After the internal trials there's the Spillane tournament in New Plymouth, then pre-season games against Old Boys Uni, Petone and Norths before the club season kicks off on 7 April >>>

Non-players' membership subs due

Calling all non-players! Help keep the Red Machine humming during 2012 by paying your membership subs. Thanks to those who have already paid - for those who haven't, here's the details >>>

Working bee on 25 February

Rain, hail or shine, there's a working bee on at the Hataitai clubrooms on Saturday 25 February, starting at 9am. And if you're looking for a great venue for a wedding, 21st or any big social occasion, this brief video highlights just what a great facility our clubrooms are.

Junior registrations now on

Get the kids off the computer screens and into an MSP jersey! The next junior registration day is Sunday 19 February, plus there's training sessions for under-9s to under-13s and a big Open Day for kids and families coming up in March >>>

Around the traps

Michael Holden, MSP's very own Peter Jackson, has been putting together some great videos. Check out this highlights package from the NZ Marist sevens. He's planning regular clips of the prems' games during the season... If one training a week is all you can manage, try playing for the mighty Reserve Internationals. Chief recruiter Edwin Meachen has the details.... Anyone out there handy with a needle and thread? John Duignan has a wee job for you....

Great ways to keep in touch with MSP!
