Marist St Pats will mark its 40th birthday this year with a 'Ruby Jubilee' on 13-15 May. A big weekend of celebrations will see a gathering and smorgasbord meal on the Friday night, a luncheon before the senior 1 and premier games on Saturday, and Mass on Sunday >>>
Former MSP centre Chris Slade has another big game this weekend when his Melbourne Rebels Super XV team takes on Fiji. Ex-Wallaby captain Stirling Mortlock will play the first half at centre for the Rebels, with Chris scheduled to replace him in the second half >>>
Marist teams from Invercargill to North Harbour, along with sides from Samoa and Fiji, will take part in the popular NZ Marist sevens tournament at Evans Bay on Friday and Saturday 4 and 5 February >>>
Good numbers are turning up for MSP's pre-season training which is now in full swing every Tuesday and Thursday night at Evans Bay. The sessions start at 6pm under the watchful eye of premier and senior 1 coaches Clayton McMillan, John Duignan and Bevan Packer >>>
Sample some early season rugby on 28 and 29 January and get down to the Ulalei tournament at Evans Bay. MSP's sevens team is taking on some local competition in a Pacific tournament run over Friday and Saturday >>>
