Saturday morning pilot for 'Little Rippas'

Last Saturday 5 May marked another MSP milestone with the start of 'Little Rippas' rugby. Following feedback about 3-4 year olds who were eager to play rugby too, Rebecca Rapira-Davies from the Junior Club has set up a pilot programme for them.

Helping Rebecca were her son Kahu, two students from St Pat's College and two from St Catherine's College, including Tessa Murphy, daughter of club captain Neil (Tessa and Michaela Jensen also help out at the Red Shop in the clubrooms on Saturday nights). The children are practising drills that encourage ball handling and team skills, and the looks on their faces suggest the sessions are going to be a great success. Good luck to all the parents and children involved.

Kids' Club request:

Erin who runs the popular Kids' Club at the clubrooms on Saturday evenings is looking for pre-loved, used quality toys, games, DVDs and books. Any donations can be dropped off to her the clubrooms.
