Zak Feaunati, in his capacity as Wellington Pride coach, has named seven Marist St Pats players in his wider squad for the Farah Palmer Cup.
Ana Afuie, Lyric Faleafaga, Kolora Lomani, Gene Solia-Gibb, Monica Tagoai and Valini Vaka have all been named in the playing squad with Cheyne Copeland named in the training squad. This is a fantastic achievement for these individual players and an endorsement of the growth of our Premier Women's side - this is the largest number of players we've had named in the Pride squad in one year.
Congratulations also to Marcelle Parkes who has made the move to Canterbury and will join their Farah Palmer Cup squad.
The Pride have their first Farah Palmer Cup match on Sunday 18 July against Otago at Jerry Collins Stadium.
