Four wins as winter sets in

It was a dour winter day in Wellington as heavy rain poured during the Premier match at Helston Park. The conditions didn't affect our top teams as four big wins were recorded.

Our Premier Women kicked off the day with a 77-15 win over Poneke to stay unbeaten in the second round, while the Colts got their second in a row with a 33-0 win over Paremata-Plimmerton.

Our Premier Reserves continued their dominant form putting on their second century of the season against Johnsonville, winning 109-0.

Our Premiers made hard work of their match against winless Johnsonville - albeit in testing conditions. Despite opening the scoring early, the hosts stayed in touch to keep things level at 12-12 at halftime. Our boys toiled their way ahead in the second half to take a bonus point win 29-12 and second place on the Hardham Cup table.
