Director of Rugby - New position

The Marist St Pats Rugby Football Club has a proud history of success both on and off the field built on a strong Catholic foundation. We are looking at how we can continue and build on this proud history with the creation of this new role.

We are now looking for a Director of Rugby.

The role purpose is to be accountable for all rugby related activities at the Club. With key responsibilities for:

  • Setting and delivering the Rugby Strategy for the Club
  • Delivering the initiatives to support the WRFU Community Rugby Programme
  • The development and progression of our coaches
  • For player retention, recruitment and development
  • Overseeing rugby operations

The successful candidate is likely to have a background in coaching at a senior level for a period of time and/or been in a similar role at another rugby club or within another sporting code.

The successful candidate must have excellent communications skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, be a self-starter motivated by achieving goals and be structured and systematic in their approach.
