Meachen and Kauraka to coach Premier Reserves
Marist St Pats is pleased to announce Edwin Meachen and Daniel Kauraka as our Premier Reserve coaches for 2018. We are also fortunate to welcome back former Premier coach Brendan Reidy who will return in a mentor capacity to Edwin and Dan.
The appointment represents another step in the development of this exciting young pair who have been involved with our young players over the past few years. Edwin has been the Colts coach for the past two seasons while Premier Reserve stalwart Dan has been involved in our High Performance Unit.
When asked about the appointment, Meach said that in partnering with Dan he sees 'a lot of synergies around keeping things simple while innovative, with a focus on player development at all grades from Colts to Seniors. To have the support and mentoring of Brendon Reidy gives us both an invaluable opportunity to develop as coaches too.'
The duo are looking forward to working with Robbo, Bernie and Arden again and will endeavor to support them and the Senior playing group to help achieve another successful 2018 season for the Club.
