Six in Wellington Under 19 squad

Six Marist St Pats players have been named in the Wellington Under 19 wider training squad announced last week. The Under 19 squad plays are big part in developing players for further representative honours with high value placed on performing strongly at the annual Jock Hobbs Memorial Under 19 national tournament.

Kerrod Foaese (St Patrick’s College, Wellington)
Regan Sword (Hato Paora College)
Willie Schutz (St Patrick’s College, Wellington)
Ivan Fepuleai (St Patrick’s College, Silverstream)
Nese Solia (St Patrick’s College, Silverstream)

These six players have featured prominently for Marist St Pats in 2016. They have contributed to the success of the Colts team, but also the Premiers. Kerrod, Regan and Ivan have been regular starters for the Premiers while Foliga and Willie have also featured in the top grade.

We wish all six players the best for the upcoming months as they look to solidify spots in the tournament team.
