Petelo and Meachen to represent Samoa 'A'

Marist St Pats Premier midfielder Isaia Petelo and hooker Valentine Meachen have been named in a 23 man squad to play the Melbourne Rebels at AAMI Stadium on Thursday.

This match serves as a Super Rugby preseason fixture for the Rebels, while Samoa is preparing for the Pacific Rugby Challenge in Fiji held between 8-22 March.

Selection for these two players follows a training camp in Samoa (some video of their training below!) and is recognition of the hard work they have put in in recent seasons. We wish them the best of the luck for Thursday and further representative selection!
