Premier Reserves book final spot

The Premier Reserves have booked their spot in the Ed Chaney Cup final to be played next weekend against Old Boys-University.

Their semi final win came against Hutt Old Boys Marist and was an arm wrestle throughout. HOBM took an early lead but it was close the whole way through with MSP getting their first lead at the 55 minute mark. A 75th minute penalty saw the Eagles reclaim the lead but they couldn't repel the Red Machine who went back down the other end to earn the game winning penalty on full time.

The Ed Chaney Cup Final will be played on Saturday at Nairnville Park, kick off at 2.30pm.

Today's Semi Final results:

  • Premier Reserves beat HOBM by 20-18
  • Colts lost to Poneke 25-28
  • Under 85kg Green lost to Wests 10-26
