Men finish runners up at Ambassador's Sevens
Our Men's team finished runner up in Wellington's annual club sevens tournament, the American Ambassador's Cup.
After going unbeaten through pool play and dispatching Tawa 21-5 in the semi final, the side came up against tournament favourites Upper Hutt Rams. The final was close going into the second half but our boys fell short 14-39. Finishing in second place has seen our side qualify for the National Club Sevens tournament held in Auckland in February.
Our Women's side continued to build on their skills and earned a good win over Petone early in the day. They met OBU in the bowl final, going down 17-24 in extra time.
