Ken Mahoney – Rest In Peace good and faithful servant
The Marist St Pats family extends its deepest sympathy to the extended Mahoney family on the passing of Mr. Ken Mahoney.
Ken was the oldest Life Member of the Marist St Pats RFC. His passionate interest in the Club began early in 1937, when Ken joined the then Marist Brothers Old Boys RFC.
Ken was the consummate Marist Club man. Since 1937 following his playing career he passionately took on administrative, and particularly coaching, roles involved with the Marist rugby family.
For nearly 80 years Ken has mentored players and coaches. In more recent years when Ken was not always able to get to Premier matches it was always the responsibility of a family member to let Ken know how the team played!
To Ken’s family and to Larry, John and Trish the Marist St Pats family extends its deepest sympathy.
Ken's funeral will be held at St Peter and Paul's in Johnsonville at 11am on Tuesday 29 September.
