Clubrooms see plenty of action in September
In a big finish to the winter season, the clubrooms saw a flourish of activity with a number of events hosted throughout September.
The first big night was our annual Senior Prizegiving in which Isaia Petelo (right) was named the Sportsman of the Year. It was a great night with plenty in attendance to recognise players and club members for their contributions throughout the season. A full list of prizewinners can be found here.
The following week saw MSP host the Wellington Samoa Rugby dinner with guests including All Blacks coaches Steve Hansen and Ian Foster (left). This was a great night in support of a rugby community that has strong associations with MSP.
Finally, the annual Shamrock Club Test Match dinner produced another night to remember with another set of outstanding speakers in Blues coach and All Black great Sir John Kirwan and Sport NZ CEO Peter Miskimmin. The clubrooms were heaving with our valued sponsors and supporters who enjoyed hearing both speakers and socialising with other members.
