Ryan leads from the front for NZ Marist 7s
2012 Jubilee Cup winner and current Tasman 7s representative Ryan Setefano had the honour of captaining the New Zealand Marist 7s team at the Vailima Marist 7s in Samoa last month. The side which was picked following the annual NZ Marist 7s tournament at Evans Bay also included MSP flanker Isaac O'Connor.
After winning their first pool match 19-7 over Salailua, the team fell 7-10 to Vaimoso. This put them into the Bowl draw which they went on to win 15-7 over Satitoa.
Ryan was named in the tournament team, a fantastic achievement and the only NZ Marist player to be recognised in that side!
