Four MSP players in Wellington XV to play Manawatu
Wellington Lions coach Chris Boyd has named a 27 man squad to play a preseason match against Manawatu this Wednesday 31 July.
Amongst the hopefuls vying for a spot in the ITM Cup squad are four Marist St Pats players. Veteran halfback and MSP Captain Peter Sciascia is joined in the backs with fullback Andrew Wells, while front rowers Donald Brighouse (right) and Sefo Setefano have also made the team.
These players are set to start the game off the bench.
The club wishes our boys the best for the game, all have had a strong season for the Red Machine and are deserving of their spots in this side.
