MSP chairman Ruffy Mollo thanks all the volunteers who made possible the club's 'excellent on-the-field achievements' in his review of 2012 for the club's 42nd annual report.
The report is now being circulated to members and will be discussed at the AGM on 29 November. Ruffy notes that eight of 10 MSP teams made semi-finals and finals of the second round with three teams, including the premiers, winning their grades.
He also acknowledges the boost in social activities from a busy House committee and improved revenue, but notes the difficulties facing the club in a tough fiscal environment.
'As we no longer get a dividend from the WRFU, fundraising, grant applications and subscriptions are our revenue streams and it's a battle on all fronts to achieve what we require.'
The annual report includes reports from the president, treasurer, club captain, the House committee, the Shamrock Club and the Junior Club. All the club's representative players are listed, as are trophy winners, club members and coaches and managers, and each team has provided a team report.
