Congratulations to Victor Vito who has been recalled to the All Blacks squad to visit South Africa for the Tri-Nations test in Port Elizabeth next weekend.
Victor, who is Marist St Pat's seventh All Black, was first selected last May and played six tests. He lost his spot but has since come back into the selectors' eye with some outstanding performances for the Hurricanes and the Wellington Lions.
He played in every minute of every game for the Hurricanes in this year's Super XV and has been in fine form for an under performing Wellington Lions.
After this year's Super XV loose forward Victor was back down at MSP training and keen to play. However, higher honours called, and now he is in the All Blacks squad for the South Africa trip while Richie McCaw and Kieran Reid stay at home.
The club is delighted he's in the frame for World Cup selection and wishes him all the best.
