Liu wins Best and Fairest for 2011
Congratulations to premier hooker Liu Taituave, winner of the Dominion Post's 'best and fairest' award.
Liu, pictured opposite in action against HOB Marist, just got better and better as the season went on. For his efforts he collects the Billy Wallace Trophy which is judged on points awarded weekly by the DomPost's rugby contributors.
Liu finished on 15 points, one ahead of front row teammate Jeff Allen and Upper Hutt fullback Jason Woodward.
