Premiers fall to Rams; Internationals still unbeaten

Our Premiers had a tough afternoon at Maidstone Park falling to the Upper Hutt Rams by 19-46.

The game started in positive fashion for the Red Machine, scoring two tries in the first six minutes. It was largely one way traffic from there. Leaky defence and a high penalty count stymied any momentum with the Rams taking full advantage.

Earlier the Colts game was called off 20 minutes early due to an injury to Nathan Carr that required an ambulance. Early reports indicate this was precautionary and we wish Nate a speedy recovery. Final score was 29-19 to Marist St Pats.

Our Premier Reserves played a high scoring affair, ultimately going down by 4-50 to the Rams.

Also out in Upper Hutt, the Internationals remain unbeaten after taking down the 'Thirsty Rams' by 20-14.

The Under 85s also had a high scoring loss, losing to Petone by 24-36. While the Presidents had a big win over Upper Hutt Rams by 50-20.

On the Netball courts, both Marist St Pats sides had good wins. Netball 1 won beat East 9 by 27-15; Netball 2 beat Kia Ora 5 by 27-22.
