Internationals claim first round title
The Internationals have started the 2024 season with a growl and bark going unbeaten through the first round of Reserve Grade division 2.
A turnover of 10-15 players from last season hasn’t stalled our recent success with the first round built upon dogged defence including conceding only 6 tries in 5 games.
Staying true to our name, characters from England, Wales, Scotland, France and Germany have joined the usual suspects in 2024, keen to contribute to the Internationals legacy and leave their mark on the team.
Although a few wins by default have been disappointing, an emphasis on enjoying ourselves off the field has kept the connection strong and boys chomping at the bit for the business end of the season.
The Internationals kicked off the second round with a win (obviously) last weekend and travel to Wainuiomata for a 2.15pm kick off this weekend.
