Reconnect with old mates from the 1990s and warm up for Old Timers Day when we host a 1990s reunion on Friday 2 May at the Clubrooms.
The mid-late 1990s was one of the most successful eras, with Jubilee Cups or Swindale Shield wins in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 1999 and 2000 as well as multiple age and lower grade titles.
The Friday night is an opportunity for anyone associated with Marist St Pats during the 1990s (including past players, coaches, administrators and friends) to meet for a night and reminisce about old times. Last year we held a similar event for the infamous J6 team of old, with a great turn out. Old Timers Day will be held the following day when we host Petone at Evans Bay Park.
The entire Marist St Pats community is welcome to join us and we specifically encourage those who were part of our community in the 90s to get involved. Please share this event to your networks, such as St Pats Town Old Boys groups and any individuals you have contacts for.
The bar will be open from 6pm and the club will be organising BBQ food for attendees.
We have a special guest speaker John Daniels for a Q&A hosted by Matt Buck. John was a lock for the MSP Premier team in the mid 1990s, studied at Oxford, a reknowned journalist, professional player in France and an author of several books, now residing back in New Zealand.
In the mean time, please save the date and for those of you outside Wellington, book your travel.
