Silverware on the line next week

Our Premier Reserves and Colts have continued their winning ways and will both have a chance to earn first round silverware next week.

The Premier Reserves resumed normal transmission after a narrow loss last week beating Avalon convincingly.  They now need just one competition point from the final two rounds to claim the Harper Lock Shield.

Our Colts A side earned a victory over Oriental Rongotai today at Te Whaea and currently sit atop the Under 21 Paris Memorial Trophy table with one week to play. They will face second placed Old Boys-University next week in a winner takes all match.

In Swindale Shield action our Premiers won their fourth match in a row against Avalon, recording a bonus point before the half time break (see video of a specatular second half try below). They currently sit tied for third place with two rounds to play.

  • Premiers beat Avalon 48-14
  • Premier Reserves beat Avalon 57-21
  • Women lost to Wainuiomata 0-60
  • Colts A beat Oriental Rongotai 43-23
