Premiers book Jubilee Cup semi final

Our Premiers have overcome a 10-13 half time deficit to storm home with a bonus point victory over Wainuiomata. This win consolidates their spot at the top of the Jubilee Cup table and secures a semi final with one round to play.

Starved of possession in the first half our boys made the most of what they did get to keep the game tight as the teams broke for oranges. After then conceding another try in the first couple of the minutes, a 15 minute spell saw the Red Machine storm ahead with two quick tries and a penalty. Captain Isaac O'Connor put the icing on the cake with the bonus point try in the dying minutes.

Earlier in the day our Women finished their season with a gutsy loss to Hutt Old Boys Marist in their Division 2 final. While the result wasn't what they hoped for, they can be proud of their performances and development this season.

Our Presidents have extended their win streak to seven after beating Pare-Plim 29-12.

  • Premiers beat Wainuiomata 30-18
  • Premier 2s lost to Hutt Old Boys Marist 15-74
  • Colts A lost to Old Boys-University 7-33
  • Women lost to Hutt Old Boys Marist 20-39
