St Pat's Town are Wellington's 1st XV champions

St Patrick's College has stunned previously unbeaten Scot's College to win 19-8 in the Wellington 1st XV Premiership final at Porirua Park this afternoon.

Two first half tries to midfielder Billy Proctor saw the Dooley's take a 19-3 half time lead and stoic defence throughout the second stanza secured their first Wellington title in 20 years.

With such strong ties between club and college, Marist St Pats offers captain Jack Nelson-Murray and rest the of the team our congratulations on a very successful season!
