Sakaria makes Wellington Lions debut

Vince Sakaria is the latest in the long line of Marist St Pat's' 'Front Row University' to graduate and make his first class debut for the Wellington Lions.

In the final 10 minutes of the Lions 29-0 win over Northland, Vince came off the bench and performed solidly with a few carries and tackles to his name.

This achievement is significant after Vince missed most of last season with injury and is a testament to his talent and work ethic to start 16 games for Marist St Pats and get back into Lions contention.

He was able to celebrate the achievement on 'club night' at the Stadium by wearing his Marist St Pats socks with fellow Marist team mates Jeff To'omaga-Allen and Victor Vito.

Proud of the bro @vincesakaria on his debut for the @wgtn_lions tonight! Also good to be back playing some footy! #MSPallDay #WelcomeToTheClub
