Tessa goes to Government House
Marist St Pats congratulates club member Tessa Murphy for having been selected as a finalist in Wellington Community Trust's 'Young Community Leaders Awards 2013'.
Tessa was one of the key people involved in introducing Marist St Pats to 'Little Rippa Rugby'.
Little Rippa's was a new initiative for MSP in 2012. Tessa promoted the concept to parents and caregivers with a view to providing a structured, fun session for pre-school age children and parental interaction on a Saturday morning.
As a finalist, Tessa will attend a cocktail reception hosted by The Governor-General, Lt Gen Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, on 18 June 2013. Tessa will spend the day with the other finalists to meet one another, discuss leadership and their roles within the community.
Tessa will be returning from Otago University for the occasion.
