Red Dragons to roar back in 2013
MSP's women's team, the Red Dragons, will be back in action in 2013 after a year in recess during 2012.
Good numbers of women players are already at pre-season trainings, and coach Mere Wilson reports there's a real enthusiasm to get the team up and running again.
Team member Katerina (Lina) Tovia is helping organise the side and says numbers are looking good, but they're always keen to get more. 'Bring along any rugby playing friends or family, or anyone you know who might be keen to give rugby a go.'
Pre-season trainings are with the men every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Evans Bay, starting at 6pm. If you want to know more about women's rugby at MSP, email Mere Wilson or Lina Tovia.
