MSP website in new hands

MSP's website is in new hands. Michael and Patrick Holden, who produce the club's videos and look after MSP's Facebook page, will take over the site's day-to-day management while long-serving webmaster Pat Martin takes up a Volunteer  Service Abroad (VSA) assignment in East Timor.

Pat has run MSP's website since it was first set up in 2001, and oversaw the major makeover in 2010 to develop the current site. On 2 April, he leaves New Zealand with his wife Pip Desmond, heading for Dili, where he'll begin a two-year assignment as the communications and advocacy advisor for World Vision.

Pat plans to make good use of the MSP site which enables members and supporters worldwide to stay in contact. 'From what I understand, internet connections in East Timor aren't too bad, so I'll be logging on regularly to follow the club's fortunes.'

The club wishes Pat and Pip all the best in their ventures and looks forward to their safe return.
