Congratulations to the All Blacks
Marist St Pats, along with the rugby community worldwide, extends its congratulations to the All Blacks on winning the Rugby World Cup.
Victor Vito, the club's seventh All Black, was part of the Cup-winning squad and joins that select band who have won the Webb Ellis Trophy.
The club is in the rare position of having three World Cup winners in its ranks, albeit the other two - Solomona Sakalia this year and Jeff Allen last year - won their medals as members of the NZ under-20 team competing in the Junior World Cup.
Victor had a fine game in the pool match against Canada and was critical back-up to a loose forward trio that included All Black captain Richie McCaw and Jerome Kaino, a nominee for IRB Player of the Year.
