Setefano named Pride assistant coach
Marist St Pats Premier Women's head coach has been named as an assistant coach for the Wellington Pride.
Ryan joins the Pride coaching group that will be led by head coach Fusi Feaunati and alongside fellow assistants Serena Curtis and Aimee Sutorius.
The appointment marks the next step in Ryan's coaching career having led the Marist St Pats Premier Women since 2016. In his tenure as head coach he has rebuilt the Marist St Pats Women's programme into one of the top performing teams in the grade.
The team won the division two Izzy Ford Trophy in 2019 and contested the division one Tia Paasi Memorial Cup final in 2022. The team also finished the 2022 season with, and remain the holders of, the Challenge Cup.
Marist St Pats congratulates Ryan on his well deserved appointment and will continue to follow the Pride with keen interest.
