Colts, Under 85s advance to semi finals
In perhaps the most miserable weather of the winter, we had four rugby teams still in action around Wellington.
At Hataitai Park, our Colts put on a wet weather masterclass to beat Wellington by 48-5 in their quarter final. They advance to play top seeded Petone in their semi final next weekend.
The Premier 2's travelled to Hutt Rec to face Hutt Old Boys Marist in their quarter final. The game was tied at 17-all mid-way through the second half before the higher seeded Eagles pulled away to win by 17-32.
The Internationals retained their remarkable unbeaten streak of 13 games with a 24-0 win over OBU 'Pink Ginners'. They have one more round robin game to play next week.
The Under 85s had a 0-15 loss to Hutt Old Boys Marist but still finished in second place to host Petone in next weekend's semi final at Evans Bay Park.
