End of the road for Premiers, Premier Reserves

Our Premier and Premier Reserve sides have seen their season's end after being knocked out in their respective semi finals.

At Evans Bay Park our Premiers were slow out of the gates, falling behind by 0-22 after 25 minutes. They never found a rhythm and despite two second half tries, fell far short ending with a 14-27 loss.

At Maidstone Park, our Premier Reserves had an incredibly tight match against Upper Hutt but also fell short at 12-13.

While a disappointing end to the season, this was a year in which the club was re-establishing our culture and saw the introduction of many new players to the club. In the Premiers alone there were no fewer than a dozen debutants.

Elsewhere, the Internationals remain unbeaten after taking down the OBU 'Teddy Bears' by 48-20. They will host a semi final next week. The President's result wasn't available at time of publication.

On the courts, our Netball sides were back after a week off and both had strong wins. Netball 1 beat WEGC 2 by 52-12 and Netball 2 beat Nga Mokopuna 2 by 37-25.

While the season has now concluded for half our teams, the Internationals, Presidents and Netballers are all in action again next week and will look forward to your support!
